Continuing the 90’s indie revival led by B-Town protagonists Peace and Swim Deep, come SHINIES.

The Manc lads released their Tangle EP in August which offers a selection of indie-pop gems that bring to mind the poppier elements of the Britpoppers of the decade that seems most in fashion right now.

However, today’s pick is their earlier track, Shola. A great display of drumming supports a swirling riff and lyrics such as “In the night-time when it feels stagnant/We used to kiss like magnets.”

It’s romindie, and it’s bloody catchy.
